Challenge
For the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Terre armée® technique, patented by Henri Vidal in 1963, Geoquest commissioned us to create a motion design brand film.
The objectives were to:
Showcase Terre Armée’s pioneering history and global impact,
Present its core technical solutions (RETAIN, CROSS, PROTECT, STRENGTHEN) in a clear, engaging way,
Inspire confidence in the future of the brand by combining heritage and innovation.
The film was to be used both in corporate events and across digital channels, requiring a balance of technical rigor and storytelling appeal.

Development
We collaborated closely with Geoquest, whose expertise in reinforced earth applications and soil-structure interaction ensured the film was technically accurate and engaging.
Benoit Pelle led the art direction, defining a flat-shaded vector graphic style aligned with Terre Armée’s brand identity. Once validated, he produced all the visual assets used in the film.
The motion design production was then built on these assets, bringing the story of Terre Armée to life with clarity, rhythm, and visual consistency.
Results
The film was successfully delivered for the 60-year anniversary celebrations in 2023.
It provided Terre Armée with a visually distinctive and coherent communication piece — one that celebrated its heritage, illustrated its technical expertise, and projected its future vision.
